What is a birth chart?
A birth chart is a map of calculated celestial positions for a birth date, time and place, arranged according to a chosen astrological system. In Antaryami, you explore those results through the Bhacakra instrument.
There are two different things to keep in mind: calculating a position and interpreting its significance. A calculated position can be checked against the selected method. The meaning attached to it is an astrological interpretation, not proof that a particular event must happen.
Which details does Antaryami use?
Your birth date, birth time and birthplace establish the starting information for your chart. Antaryami asks you to select a city so that it can use the associated location and timezone information. A city name typed without a confirmed selection can be ambiguous.
Your current city of residence is a separate profile field. Moving to another city does not change where or when you were born. Your full name identifies your saved profile; it does not replace the birth details needed for chart calculation.
Use the best information you have, and be honest about uncertainty. A remembered approximate time is not the same as a documented exact time. If you do not know it, use the available unknown-time option rather than supplying a made-up time.
How to approach your first reading
- Check your saved birth details before reading the result. Pay particular attention to the date, city and AM or PM.
- Explore one part of the Bhacakra and read the explanation beside it. Let the whole profile provide context rather than treating one symbol as a verdict.
- Reflect on what feels relevant to your actual experience. Leave space for what does not fit, and for the limits of the information you supplied.
Why might two charts look different?
First compare the inputs. Different dates, timezones, birth-time assumptions or selected cities can produce different results. Then compare the calculation methods. A visual difference does not, by itself, establish which chart is correct.
Antaryami has licensed Swiss Ephemeris. Read the calculation method stated on the particular result rather than inferring live engine use from licensing or appearance. Compare like-for-like inputs and conventions before drawing conclusions about differences.
